The eyes in this image a particularly striking, They are so dark compared to the rest of her features that your eyes are drawn in toward them.

This is the first time I attempted to draw proper clouds and it turned out very well. The picture illustrates the fact that you can spot beauty anywhere if you look for it, as the bored passenger would find if she turned and saw the sunset behind her.

I tried to capture the expression of someone intently listening to another person. It turned out rather well, especially the hands which I usually butcher :)

I wanted the junk ship crew to look like a bunch of old frontier pioneers, which the sepia palette certainly helped with. It also features a characteristic sci-fi twist with the space elevator and contrails in the background.
